현대미술(웹툰·회화) 전공소개
현대미술은 미디어의 기술적이고 문화적인 측면을 예술과 결합하여 우리를 둘러싼 환경에 유의미한 변화를 가져옴을 목표로 한다. 따라서 모더니즘, 아방가르드, 동시대 미술의 흐름을 바탕으로 오늘날 예술 개념의 지형을 파악하고, 다양한 인터페이스와 소프트웨어 기술을 활용하여 서로 다른 문화 형식들이 상호 작용할 수 있도록 제시한다. 또한 미술의 창작과 의미화 과정이 긴밀히 연결되어 있음을 상기하며, 다가오는 4차 산업혁명의 흐름 속에서 개방성을 극대화하여 융합의 핵심을 통찰할 수 있게 함으로써, 변화하는 다양한 미술 직업군 안에서 언제든지 그 주체가 될 수 있도록 인도해 준다. 인간 삶의 영원한 동반자인 콘텐츠는 차세대 지식산업의 핵심동력이다. 글로벌콘텐츠로 탑재가 가능한 디지털코믹스(웹툰)아트를 완성해 글로벌시장에 진출하는 것을 목표로 한다.
웹툰 콘텐츠 분야는 최근 폭발적으로 성장하고 있는 웹툰 산업에서 필요로 하는 웹툰작가, PD, 일러스트레이터, 스토리텔러 등 전문가를 양성하기 위한 과정으로 현장 전문가와 함게 프로젝트를 중심으로 한 글로벌 창의 인재 양성을 목표로 하고 있으며 독창적이고 진취적인 재능을 개발해 나가고자한다. 단순한 기능 습득에만 머무르지 않고 학과 특성을 살려 회화의 인체, 색채학, 조형 기법 등 다양한 예술적 성취에 이를 수 있도록 종합적이고 입체적인 교육을 추구하고 있다.
Contemporary art aims to combine the technical and cultural aspects of the media with art and bring meaningful changes to the environment surrounding us. Therefore, based on the flow of modernism, avant-garde, and contemporary art, we identify the topography of today's art concept and present different cultural forms to interact with each other by utilizing various interfaces and software technologies. It also reminds us of the close connection between art creation and semanticization process, maximizing openness and insight into the core of convergence in the upcoming 4th Industrial Revolution, leading us to become the subject of changing art professions at any time. Content, an eternal partner in human life, is the core engine of the next generation of knowledge industries. It aims to enter the global market by completing digital comic (webtoon) art that can be loaded with global contents.
